WE DID IT!

We are so excited to share that as of this weekend we are the 2022 Region 14 Chorus Champions! 

After two long years of not being able to compete we were finally back this year on the competition stage for the regional competition. Well, not really because Region 14 decided to have a virtual competition. So we gathered some family and friends on a Tuesday evening in our rehearsal hall, dressed in our competition costumes and recorded our set. This video was sent to the region (which was actually not easy because of technical issues, but after many, many hours we finally achieved it) and from there to SAI and the judges. Last weekend, Saturday April 9th, the region presented a watch party over zoom to view all the videos of the quartet and chorus competition and reveal the results. We are still in shock and can't believe that we managed with a chorus of only 16 singers not only to place first of the small choruses but also to rise to the top overall - FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! Big congratulations to the chorus and our awesome director Susie Smith. We are excited and so proud to represent Region 14 on the "big stage" at the International Competition in Louisville, KY in 2023. But for now we will focus on our next big event: The International Competition in Phoenix, AZ in September where we will compete in the Harmony Classic competition.
