Three for Ten!

Just like me, they long to be close to you!

Valentine's Day is coming up, but we know it will be different this year. To stay safe, we're creating a Virtual Valentune performance.

Our online package includes three different quartets singing a variety of Valentine songs -- that's three songs for only $10!

To order, just fill out the online form HERE, and pay via PayPal below, and voila!
Your loved one will receive our Virtual Valentune performance on Valentine's Day.

Due to COVID-19 we suspended our live rehearsals but have been meeting online to stay connected and keep our voices strong. Many other organizations had to adjust to this situation as well. One of them the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in the Triangle Area. Carolina Harmony has been loyal to this race singing for the runners for many, many years and therefore we immediately said yes when we were asked if we could make an entertaining contribution to the race which would be a virtual one this year. Current and former members of CHC sent in videos of the song we always sing for the runners "We Are Family". Take a look at the final product, put together by our editor extraordinaire Susanne. Make sure to watch till the end for a fun surprise!

In order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, Sweet Adelines International has canceled all 2020 regional competitions, including ours. While we are terribly disappointed, we support the decision and want to do our part to keep each other — and you! — healthy and safe. Therefore, we have canceled our dress rehearsal scheduled for March 17. We look forward to singing for you again sometime soon.

We are also suspending our rehearsals for the next couple of weeks. Please check back here to find out when we will be back.

The Sweet Adelines International 2020 Queens of Harmony have been crowned! VIVA! Congratulations to Patty Cobb-Baker, Gina Baker, Chris DeRosa, and our very own Peggy Jones. CHC is sooo proud and happy for you and we love you very much!

Congratulations also to Trisha Coley and her quartet The Vibe for their wonderful performance on the International Stage.

Our friend and fellow chorus member, Elaine Hunt, passed away on June 12, 2019.

Elaine discovered barbershop in the late 1980's when she joined Carolina Harmony Chorus and, with her excellent work ethic and enthusiastic approach, rapidly became a dedicated chorus member. She was an asset as a singer and as a member of the Chorus Music Staff (Lead Section Leader). She also served several terms on the Chorus Board of Directors (Six times as President!!)

As Roxanne Davenport, who sang with Elaine in their quartet "What Next?!", says, Elaine "loved the whole Sweet Adeline experience - the contests, the shows, the organization, the Queens of Harmony, the whole shabang!"

After many happy years of singing in the Masonic temple in Raleigh, it is time to say goodbye - and hello to our new rehearsal location! Starting July 23, 2019 our rehearsals will take place in the fellowship hall of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 5101 Oak Park Rd., Raleigh. But wait, there is more! Stay tuned for more news coming soon.

Amy joined Carolina Harmony Chorus soon after moving to Cary, NC, in the early 1980's and shared her positive outlook, excellent work ethic, and enthusiasm for barbershop harmony as an active member for a number of years.  She was an asset to the chorus both as a singer (excellent baritone) and as a member of the chapter Board of Directors, where she served several terms as Treasurer.   Most of all, she was a good friend and a pleasure to be around.

We are lucky to have known her!!
